So are you telling me Sony is not doing the same to their remasters like GOW3 is because they are leading? If that is the case, then I wouldn't mind MS being behind PS4 this whole gen. Thanks for reminding us. ;)
Ms won. It was a clean sweep, no question about it. MS can't control what it's rivals do and don't do like the Golden State Warriors basketball team can't control teams they didn't face due to them being knocked out by other teams or have players injured when they won the NBA championship.
Scalebound won Dualshockers game of the show award, 3 out of 4 editors from twinfinite.net gave the honor as their winners to Xbox One,
All the hottest...
So Sony forfeited as they have nothing new to show rather than go head to head with the competition.
That is just a theory so who knows. :)
Ms literally become the system with the most AAA games that you can play locally when BC activated this Fall.
I MEAN MS could have just provide a vanilla BC mode like previous BC were implementated and call it a day and it still would be great but they went up and beyond with allowing things like playing against other X360 consoles online, carried all DLCs and achievements over, booting up the same X360 interface and allowing XB1 features like Snap and Streaming to also be us...
Yes for newcomers to Xbox one that never experienced the awesome brutality of Gears before. I MEAN they included the entire trilogy plus a side game for Free and a totally new remake of the game for the same price as a regular console. This is a no Brainer for many.
That is the attitude of this new Xbox regime under Phil. He is willing to take risk and try new IPS like what we are seeing with Scalebound,QB, recore, Sea of Thieves and bringing back cult classics like Crackdown and KI. Remember, Michael Jordan made tons on game winning shots but failed just as much but he is the greatest of all time.
Not saying Phil is Michael Jordan but he has that same competitive drive and not afraid of the big moment.
Yup, thanks for the update Chris. This preview sounds much better than the one from Kotaku.
You know the one that made the most impact was the Crackdown 3 trailer. When they showed and said "total mass destruction of an entire city with the power of the cloud" it was pretty much the talk of Gamescom and made grown men cry with happiness or sadneas, depending which side you are on. Now that is how a tailer can impact people. The QB and Scalebound trailers were also nice too.
Wow, 3 out of the 4 editors chose XBOX One as the Winner....and I 100% agreed . :)
Wow, Sound like very substandard with the review. Was really hoping this would be good so I can get it down the road. Looks like a future PSN plus titles to me.
Both have their pros so the better option is to have both for us to choose really.
For example, when remasters cost almost as much as a retail games and only offer a higher resolution bump and fps or have features taken away, then those are not remasters that sound interesting to me. But when remasters are done right like adding new textures and cinematic built from the grounds up or having multiple titles included in the package and retaining EVERY thing from its original in...
Agreed Christopher. Well said and great logic behind your reasons.
Agree with DLconspiracy and Sm00thop,
Lol, people think anyone can just wake up overnight and do this like a newly biology graduate can just operate on a patient. Sony can rent servers and load as much as their budget can take but it stills requires people with knowledge and to make it happen as this is not something as simple as online netcode optimization.
MS has been working on this for years just like they took years to make their Windows OS and improvin...
The debate is not if it is possible or not as of course it is possible. BUT Sony doesn't have something like Azure to handle what we are seeing at the level of Crackdown. Sony only option is to spend a fortune renting servers to host the neccessary servers to supply the cloud computing to get to the level of where MS and xbox is in regard to this tech. GAIKAI and Onlive are just Software as a service (SaaS) type of Cloud and would not be able to do what the PaaS Cloud infrastructure like ...

"I mean...that really isn't saying much. The top games for XONE are all ports? Um......ok."
So did you say the same when the same site did a Top 5 PS4 games with TLOU, Rocket League, as two of their games? OK...obvious toll is obvious.
at least this list doesn't have a game that is also confirmed to be on another competing current gen platform like Rocket League. There you go.
But the differnce is these original x360 games only works on natively on x360 and XB1 and nothing else while old PS3 games on PS Now also work on PlayStation Vita, PlayStation TV, select Sony TVs, select Sony Blu-ray Players, and select Samsung Smart TVs so it is not really the same thing.
I think the author is implying native support and able to use current gen's features like screenshots and such with it. The remaster TLOU is native support in disc or digital form just...
Truth and to the point. LoL
The only way I see that this game is not worth it is when the cops showing up at my front door and arresting me for stealing the game because $30 is really like a steal. ;)
Is that a trick question?
Is a $9.99 buffet with a 100 items menu including lobster tails and Primm ribs worth it?
Tied for "well worth it" HD collection of this century with Halo MCC and Gears Ultimate.
Because the XB1 version hit the magical 1080p perhaps. Either that or they don't like Platinum game going the extra miles. LOL, I am not sure.
Calm Down dude. I said it is just a rumor and I am sure Sony will have new stuff to show as well at their upcoming shows. Looking forward to it. Stil don't know why you make it such a personal deal when what I said about 3 out the 4 editors made xb1 their winners from this article as I know Sony wasn't there but just stating what was said. Chill bud.
