First of all, Giantbomb didn't even have a review posted yet and you just made that scores up. LMAO.
Secondly, I like how you left out the 9 from IGN, 9.5 from EGM, 9.5 from Destructoid and many others as well. I am sure you had heard of those gaming sites before. obvious troll is obvious. eyes roll
this review is actually closer to the actual means of the overall accumulated scores on N4G than Gamespot which also included 9s and 10s from IGN, Metro, Destructoid and other reputable sites.

So, there you go. Gamespot also gave Batman Arkham Knight a 7 and The godly The Last of Us an 8, both way below their accumulated avg as well. They are human, they made mistakes from time to time too. ;)

Australian do love their racing and are generally very knowledgeable about it so this review confirmed what many have had said in their reviews already...and that is, it is a great racer and the best arguably the Sim racers ever!
the reviewer is a known fanboy and his bias is really showing when he review another console exclusive sim racer but gave it a stellar 4.5/5 and praising it to no end and also throw in a jab to Forza while reviewing it. Very unprofessional.

I like Metro's review and this 9 is just spot on.
Really awesome and this will proabably go down as one of the best racers of all time. Don't know how Forza 7 can top this, maybe with DX12 and cloud compute, I would imagine but as it is on just console, it is going to be hard to top this masterpiece.
But that will required the sacrafice of 60fps gameplay so it wouldn't have work anyhow. 60fps for a sim racer is a must so the trade-off for not having dynamic weather is well worth it IMO!

Forza Has always been the one to beat ever since Forza 3. This is no different and is the biggest Forza to date from Turn-10. A masterpiece of a racer indeed.

You tell me. I already pre order the game months ago but now hearing about all these great scores, I'll just pay an extra $40 to get the Ultimate edition just to play it 5 days early with the extras.
Dang..and GT3 is indeed one of the best racers ever IMO. So to get a praise like this really does mean something. Can't wait for this masterpiece of a racer!

It is just a single score as Gamespot has been very picky lately with their scores. There are a dozen other reviews so far in the early stages and they are all 9s across the board including a 9 from IGN.
They deducted points because the replay is not 60fps. WOW, talking about a non issue as I don't ever recall any 60fps racers that have replay that are 60fps on console before.
Extending the single player campaign and compete with friends online sounds like some kind of co op mode or some sort. Glad xbox live will be put to use afterall like the majority of the games on the platform
