Unlike Tomb Raider that was launched Tuesday in the UK on 2013, this Tomb Raider came out just a few days ago, on Friday the 13th in the UK so it has a 3 day less advantage.
Also, in 2009, when a 3 year old PS3 with a higher user base and Uncharted 2 was released, it did 84k.

What are you talking about? The 183,000 number is for the 2013 version on both X360, PS3 and PC.
The definitive version that was released in 2014 was way less. It sold 27,500 on both ps4/xb1

Rise of the Tomb Raider did great on its debut weekk in the UK. Awesome game and well deserved
Best Gaming UI ever made. It is just so fast and well thought out. The 2 buttons or less and hot key navigation is ingenious. Can't go back to any other console UI after this.
The one that allows continue playing a save game via cloud saves, play online with last gen console, use current generation's hardware features like streaming and screenshot, allows DLC to work, play the disc games you already owned without extra charge, have previous purchased digital titles showing up instantly for installing, have 2 BC titles free every month for online subscription members is the winner in my book.

Wii U BC is useless as no one cares about it just like most gamers don't care for 99% of Wii games when it was setting the world on fire in late 2000s.

What looks like bad graphics now was great graphics back in the days. That is like saying dvd has bad video quality after watching a 4k movie. Technology slow down to no one.
