But sorry, its an IDENTICAL copy of Sonic 2 from 18 years ago (Graphics aside of course)
And lets face facts here, if you can't beat a game graphically thats 18 years old then there really is a problem.
As i say, kudos for the graphics, but origionality scores a big fat ZERO with me.
You folks really need to get off Sega's back at times, theres just no pleasing you.

Overall XBLA has the better arcade games, more arcade games with online multiplayer, and more games that have scored higher and sold better.

I agree with this review wholeheartedly.
The 3D shooting sections actually make space harrier look good.
The platforming/2D shooting sections are boring and repetitive.
The fighting sections are slow, cumbersome and generally very poor with very limited fight moves.

With the staff they have in MOST branches they will NEVER get that kind of marketshare........... you know why? when a game is released on a friday the staff are so god damn lazy that you don't see the games on the store shelves till about 5 days after release.

There may be some Sonic games out there that have been below par over the past 9 years..... but it is FAR from 9 years ago since the last good one.
Go invest in a DS and play the above mentioned Sonics to see what i mean.

Bottom line is Sonics 2D games have been excellent for the best part of almost 20 years now.
Example.... Sonic master system games like Sonic chaos ect.... excellent.
Sonic CD....... Sublime
Sonic advance 1,2 & 3 on GBA..... Superb
Sonic Rush on DS..... Fantastic.

Whilst Sega can return themselves to some franchises that very much need reviving.
So please Sega....... reboot these 3 franchises asap (from the list in the article)
1. Streets of Rage 4 (2D classic style of course)
2. Shinobi 4: the RE-Return of the ninja master/Revenge of Shinobi 2 (2D)
3. Jet Set Radio 3/Jet Set Radio Future 2

It has socred high despite the levels been reworks of previous Sonic games.
If Sonic 4: Episode 2 has entirely new levels and Tails/Knuckles are playable..... it could hit a 9 score.

I can honestly say that it does not deserve the abysmal 3.0/10 scores it has been mostly getting.
Sure, QT is not in Gears league, but non the less its not that bad of a game.
The controls are better than they were in the demo, and it does have some interesting boss fights.
Also having felina as a sidekick does add a neat touch to the combat.
Lastly some of the areas where your on moving objects and still battling awa...
Because you can be more brutal to a zombie than you can a human.
Take Dead Rising 2 for example....... you can rip zombies arms clean off, literally turn them in to mush with the lawnmower combo card, slice them clean in half with the broadsword ect.
But when you attack the looters in Dead Rising 2 (the humans) you can't do any of that, hell you can't even crush their skull with the nail/baseballbat combo.

To know that for me Castlevannia LOS & Enslaved are both day 1 buys.
IGN's score is not going to tell me otherwise.
Oh, and Quantum Theory got tonnes of 3.0/10 reviews, but personally, having just completed the game yesterday i would give it a 6.5-7.0/10.
Reviewers are clearly spending too much time looking backwards these days as opposed to looking forwards.

i'm about 4 hours in to this game now, and i have to say....... it's not actually too bad.
The controls are more responsive than they were in the demo, it looks pretty good, and theres parts where your shooting whilst on moving objects/enemies that look pretty damn good in motion.
Sure, this is no Gears of war (not by a long shot) but its still a decent enough game.
score for me...... 6.5-7.0 range
when your life is low, and theres tonnes of zombies to get past before you get to the save room, how are the zombies not a threat?
its the SHEER VOLUME of zombies in the game that make them a threat, and sometimes once you get caught theres a knock on effect.
DR2 is a fantastic game, the Guardian is just some upper class wannabe newspaper.

One word............. FANTASTIC.
Saving AI survivors is much less hassle.
Been able to shoot and move at the same time is a big plus.
The amounts of ways i have killed zombies already far surpasses the origional AND i have still only used no more than a handful of combo cards so far.
The motorbike is very responsive.
The psychos that i have faced so far have all been varied. (fought 4)

Each and every year they consistently score between late 70's up to late 80's.
I'm just glad that Austin is back and that this year he's not exclusive to one damn game store.
