More like ps3 pessimism. I wish Moore's militia would leave us alone. Just know that Sony as a company and corporation is betting it all on the ps3, so you better believe that they will do everything in their power to make it a success. Anyways, it's not like I was going to buy a 360 just cause of a few fanboys flaming the ps3 every chance they get.
Eh whatever, not exactly the coolest intro ever, (I still think FFVIII was the best) but it's funny to see how fanboys will bow down to a halo 3 trailer where there is no amount of action whatsoever, then snub their nose at resistance.
Although this is totally off topic, would it be possible to use a PS3 as a fully blown computer? It's capable of higher resolutions (paired with the right HD-TV), has an internet browser, Hard drive and great video game support. Now granted when it comes to .mp3's, editing, and what have you, a computer is far superior, but if the PS3 could be used for next gen video games, then there would be no need to get MS's damned forced upgrade to Vista. Your thoughts...
This is what I don't get (maby someone can clue me in). How is blueray able to handle to PS3 High-def games, but it is unable to handle movies in High-def? It just doesn't make sense to me.
I do believe that Sony would have had to have undergone another FCC test with their downgraded version, since it's not the same set of components that were tested by the FCC. Being that there are no other confirmation reports that people are aware of, I think the 3.2Ghz PS3 is the PS3 that we'll all be seeing on November 17th (in th U.S. at least, sorry Europe, I feel for you.).
I've been waiting for a major gamer news site to post an article like this. Hopefuly this will raise the attention of more gamers everywhere. Now if only Xbox Live could implement a profanity free environment (Sort of like certine severs/vents that won't allow any profanity) then maby the children would learn to keep their comments clean after being banned from every match or what have you. Let's hope that mom and dad won't buy that expensive $600 playstaion for Jr. so that the rest of us can...
With more and more negativity being piled up against sony as well as the press releases that Sony themselves keep making about cutbacks with RSX, Yields, productivity, and availability, Sony is making it harder and harder for me to become an early adopter of their PS3. I don't think this will hurt them in the long run, but in the short term, It's gonna be a killer. I'm guessing that the Major US cities will get no more than 3,000 units if that. Sony will get out of this gigantic pit that they...
Let's all hope that parents won't buy the ps3 for their e-gangster prepubescents due to the $600 price tag, leaving only mature minded individuals with the ability to communicate. I myself have grown tired of the 'F' word, so I usually throw in a substitute word for it and other obscenities, it really makes for confused gamers.
It pained me further and further to read this article. According to the Author, every concole sucked minus the genisus and dreamcast. Yet he in no way gave an example as to how it ought to have looked like in those times. Oh, don't mention to him the fact that there are certine structural limitations as to what a console will look like, due to factors like overheating and ventilation. Also, I don't exactly think that pure design outweighs practical cost in the eyes of the companies crafting t...
This is by far the most painful industy story I've ever read. E3 was a dream to all gamers, a pure passion for what we love made real, a phenominal event where nobody could deny the scale and popularity of our blessed media. E3 was so large in scale that even our Japanese counterparts saw as more important than their own Tokyo Game Show. At a point in history where our media of entertainment has never been so mainstream, so accepted by the thralling masses as a movement that won't cease, shou...
Sorry but WE will never let games become just another trend as was once thought of games back in the 80's when the said market crashed. Our grandparents were known for their heroics in the 2 world wars, our parents we're known as hippies/ disco dancin' yuppies, let us be known as the ones who ushered in the digital era and embraced it as our own.

Flashback to last generation. 'No way can Microsoft get the DOA franchise, WTF' now that the tables have turned again, tell me, how much does a 360 sell back for?
Thank you for your concern Mart, but I wish not to have my "sool" "safe"(d) by you. Though, if you could, do us all a favor and buy a dictionary and use it before you post your comments. Thank you kind kiddo!

PGR3, FIght Night Round 3, Halo 3, Kameo, (i believe there was one before that)...so yea, what's your point? Sequels tend to be better than the first in terms of video games.
Actually, Itagaki (the dude that heads team ninja, the developement team that does NG, and the DOA series) has always said that he'll go with the machine that puts out the best looking graphics. That's why he made the move from playstation to Xbox. So it would seem now that he believes Sony's machine to be the best platform for his next work.
"It's going to make the large-size LCDs available at a more reasonable rate," she said. Partly because of the new factory, the average price for LCD televisions that are 40 inches or larger should fall from about $8,000 to $1,500 by 2008, Patel said.

I wonder if this bad boy will be bundled with the playstation 3 package, or if it will be sold seperatly like the last one. This controller does look to be more 'serious' in the sense that it could be compared to other dvd remotes than did the ps2 remote. Interesting...
