DS2 was fine. While there was a bit of recycling assets or ideas for bosses, it was a bigger more open Dark Souls. The Fume knight boss is one of the hardest bosses in the series until Sekiro and Elden Ring were released.
PlayStation can port over Destruction All stars, Foamstars, The Last Guardian and Astro’s playroom. Or is it typically expected PS port over its First party top tier games despite Xbox not releasing Starfield over but complains about Helldivers 2 not coming to Xbox. Xbox needs PS more than PS needs Xbox.

We had the same kind of articles published before Redfall dropped. That was an abysmal failure. Starfield is hardly a GOTY contender. Now what has XBOX coming next? Anything significant this year or the 2024?

Obviously the writer of the article doesn’t have kids taking over the TV where my ps console lives. There are clearly times where this has an use when you can’t get a screen to play games on.
XBOX lost the console war when they stopped releasing sales figures for the XB1 as the PS4 was whipping it. If Xbox was winning, they would be publicizing how many consoles they had sold vs PS.
How about the game comes out first before claiming it is going to dominate gaming. It might be a more polished No Mans sky or Elite Dangerous. Look at the hype for Redfall before it dropped and flopped.

I have grave doubts that Starfield will meet the expectations placed on it. Bethesda is known for releasing games a bit janky. I can’t see why Starfield will be any different.
This game was supposed to release last year and they still can’t get a preview or video slice cobbled together. I think it will be a cyberpunk 2077 level of disappointment.
There is no way any of the hierarchy at MS would approve of such a deal. $100 million for a year of exclusivity? How many copies would it need to sell on XBOX to recoup that much money. Makes no business sense.
Not in Australia its not. Plenty of PS4 pros for sale, new and used. Heaps of xbox one x on ebay as well.
I own a ps5 and l for one is happy that it is cross-gen. Not everyone has or can afford a ps5 so why should ps4 owners miss out. The ps5 version will look and play better but at least ps4 owners have the opportunity to experience the game as well.
