I played through MGS4 in 2 sessions, the 2nd time i could not stop playing. "you've been playing for 16 hours, shouldn't you take a break" priceless.
but i just want to point out, that the PS3 game does support uncompressed LPCM 5.1 over the HDMI port, but no surround sound if you have your console attached to the amp with Toslink(optical), which many people do(im running both A/V through HDMI, so doesn't affect me). Still Dolby Dig. should be mandatory, cant imagine what NT was thinking.
who charged $120 for a plastic skateboard(Tony Hawks: Ride) not to mention the ridiculous prices they charge for plastic guitars and DJ decks.
roaming the isles piss drunk with group of friends, or when i was a kid and had snow day, my mom would take us there. These days its Netflix and Bluray Rips from BtTrnt
Glad to hear Sony using their amazing talent pool, to make sure the PS4 is a beast hardware and software wise.
which has better performance, the Civic or the 1 1/2year old Veyron.
:-)
I'm grafix whore( Physics,Animation, ect.)Also if Sony put out a slim with all the features of the 60GB, plus wireless N( even though i use Ethernet) for say $400, id get another PS3.
ive used BC twice over 3 1/2 years. Played Vice City, and finished GOW2. i cant keep up with PS3 games, plus the grafix look horrible by today's standards. Cool feature to have on the checklist though.
the 3 year Dev. policy is a good idea. Though i think R2 was awesome( loved the Co-Op), i feel like it could have benefited from a few more months in Dev. Exited for R3, is Nathan really dead?
Love those flash card readers,4usb ports,Full hardware B.C., cool touch, power, eject buttons, SACD support( Pink Floyd Dark S.O.T.Moon 5.1 losslesss). 60GB the pinnacle of PS3, well worth the $600
at this point, from what I've seen (GTA4 ep. DLC RDR), The RAGE engine has not been optimized for PS3. I hope R* can implement MLAA or another technique like it, because the "Jaggies" in the games I played were really bad.
for when i go on a plane, or things like that. When i just have time to kill, and don't want to take my laptop. Its got Competition from my iPhone these days, Netflix streaming is sweet.
need more articles like this on N4G
It was in that fake living room by the TVs in BB, in the Palisades Center. west Nyack, NY. I was so busy shit talking it to my friend, that i did't pay much att. to what brand it was.
@ mont honestly Ive only seen the glasses 3D in stores so your pretty much in front of the tv. But Ive been all over the imax theater and it always looks the same to me.
@ Mont Called my friend he remembers it to. Don't know if was actually on sale, but it was on display...
I was in Best Buy and they had a 50 or 60 inch 3Dtv that you didn't need the glasses to see the "3D Effect". Forget about the fact that you have to be in the perfect position to see the 3D effect, the 3D was lame. It wasn't that reach out, and try to touch the thing floating if front of your face 3D. It was more like i kind of see the 3D Effect. No Thanx, I'll keep the glasses.
The 50GB duel-Layer BRs have been around since before the PS3 hit Retailers, and since when did 25 + 25 = 33.4. Google, you should try it sometimes.
First i bought a PS3 for $600,and Resistance 1. Then 2 extra controllers, bluetooth headset, and the BD remote. Then i saw the Ps3 running on a HDTV at my friends house, had to have 1. $2000 later i'm enjoying HD glory. but my receiver doesn't have hdmi inputs, so i buy a new pioneer receiver. upgraded the HDD to 500GB. I'm not buying another console till 2014, it takes a year or two before you start to see what a console can really do any way.
i just got a Samsung 32inch lcd for the kitchen, and that 1 gren pixel drives me nuts
Xbox 360 10/100 and PS3 is 10/100/1000, from what I remember?( up to ELITE don't know about the 360s)
