how is that suspicious? MS has been doing a lot to repair their brand whereas there have been problems with PSN, Driveclub, and Firmware 2.0. Hence why there are more positive MS articles and negative Sony articles.
So taking out features is a good thing? When a 10 year old PS3 has more multimedia feature than the PS4 something is not right.

not everyone thinks the driving is stellar, it does feel off and the handling can be a bit stiff (especially when turning) so it is simply not because of the online situation for which the game is receiving mixed reviews. Most reviews were actually done before the online fiasco even occurred so that completely moots your argument.
The Walking Dead seasons 1 and 2 disagree with you, as does The Wolf Among Us, also D4 as well.
At the end of the day they're both games about racing cars and the consensus is that horizon 2 is better than driveclub so there you have it. Exactly what new thing has Evolution done? They made a standard racer and added social features that have been in other racing games for a while now.
