This trailer encapsulates why Call of Duty is so great. It doesn't take itself too seriously and concentrates on providing a fun experience. Sure, it may not be realistic and it may not have as many dust particles as Battlefield 3, but at the end of the day that doesn't matter. Call of Duty is good at what it does.
