just in time for Fallout
@Vasto
It's different divisions. Sony is massively dependent on PlayStation. Microsoft would see no profit loss from dropping Xbox.
Both consoles selling really well. Good to see. Consoles ain't leaving any time soon
Jumping to corporations earning over divisions is grasping at straws in its finest form. Your tears, they taste so sweet
Perfectly fine using my handheld for indies. Then again I bought it only a few months ago so the library is still pretty fresh to me
Please for the love of god fire the writer. Halo is about storytelling. Where they went leads to interesting places, but it was handled so poorly. Explain in better detail why Cortana went psycho, give depth to Locke, and make Chief the core of the game.
Game stories don't ever feel on the scale of the greatest films. They don't have the writing. Look, I know people will hate and say "did you play Last Of Us or Uncharted?" Yes, I did. They had storytelling that was good, definitely for a game, but as a film it wouldn't be acclaimed as the greatest narrative in history, in fact it would be just another summer film. Not knocking on TLOU, as it's important to gaming culture, but stories need to improve.
I said the same thing until I actually played Halo 5. 6/10 is definitly a fair score, especially considering how downgraded the story is from the Bungie games and the multiplayer ranking is awful compared to Halo 4. 6/10 is merciful for this mess.
if i could use it just like a tv im fine. just sit down, cut out everything else, and play on a massive display.
LOL i have both consoles. Got my Xbox first and barely touched it. Delusion? You seem like the one who is upset. Microsoft is digging a whole with gamers. They quit caring about sales because they know the Xbox brand is dead. Sales are dropping off. IF they don't win this year they never will
God damn it this marketing looks Microsoft look outright obnoxious. Who is this going to appeal to? What kind of PR let's this fly? Cmon, act professional. Let's see what happens when NPD numbers are out if they start singing a different tune.
I'd still like to see a massive ad campaign though. I understand word of mouth will sell well, but I think the general public needs to see that this technology is releasing and where they can get it (PS4). It might be able to push some sales in Sony's favor this holiday season if people see that next year they will get access to the first console VR headset.
I very much wanted this. It's impossible to get PS4 level graphics on VR without this kind of external source. Now I am very much willing to shell out $400 for this if I need to.
PC gaming gets a bad rap because of elitist gamers. PC gaming itself is not bad and should not be consistently treated like garbage on this site or any other. Publishers who don't give the consumer what they paid for should either smarten up and start trying to make customers happy, or jump ship and move to console only. I think the more PC games the better, but nobody wants to be taken advantage of by the publishers.
Why do we get so outraged over this? If you care to get more power out of the console (which i did), get a PS4. If you really, really, care about power get a PC, and if you don't care about graphics as much get an Xbox One. Doesn't everybody see that this is pointless to still argue about after all these years?
PS1 and PS2 classics announcements at PSX would be awesome. Re-releases of third party SNES and other third party games would be a double win for gamers.
Hoping the overall experience improves with the new UI. Right now I've stayed away from my Xbox One for Live because it seems to sign me out 1/2 the time I turn console on. Just weird stuff like that seems to happen a lot.
As for the req system, it would have been much more enthralling to unlock armor based upon different achievements in-game (say number of kills, matches, wins, losses, etc.). For me that has always felt like the core of the Halo multiplayer (at least since Reach). New armor based on skill and progression. Further more, the sensitivity is the equivalent of a 5 on Halo 4 when on 10 in Halo 5. As a player who consistently used a 7 or 10 sensativity (depending on how long it had been since I playe...
So much needs fixed. The beta felt great. I just want that back. Req system and the ranking system give no sense of progression, and armor seems so much less valuable when it's won in a lottery. The movement speed seems lower than the beta, and overall the game feels very casualized. Aiming is slow, even on 10. Definitely not happy with multiplayer in the slightest
Always weird to think that the most popular first party game by Sony is Gran Turismo. Always seems so forgotten
