It will start to compete due to the ease of downloading games to it and the price point. No ones going to buy the iphone or itouch to just game..but it offers a great value to people who will want a new mpg player, tv/movie player, or connectivity to the internet. plus games are cheaper on the iphone and no media to lug around when you want to play. If the PSP had a hard drive it would of destroyed the big N.

ps The iphone and touch are going to be getting twice the memory soon thanks to Samsung! The harddrive and ability to download games at a whime will let it blow past the likes of PSP. No harddrive and a doomed UMD format held back the PSP IMO.

They will start selling a ton of PS3's. Thats the only thing stopping a lot of people. Think about it they could charge $15 or $10 for the game unless you have the disc then charge 2 bucks for the emulation code make some $$ and sell more consoles all while making customers happy. Considering it took them 3 years to get a functional unit out this is when they should have really launched the 360. I own all 3 consoles and have only had problems with one console to a frustrating level. That is the 360, if it were not for Best Buys warranty to replace them I would of stopped at console number 3. It just is taking to long to come out. This is a fast paced gaming world and people move on to other things. Not to mention a lot of people were hoping for more from GTA. Less repetitive missions, better graphics, and A game that once you were done with story mode you would still roam around and enjoy. They only got 1 out of 3.
