Well.. Dying Light is being developed by the same team that developed Dead Island 1. This game will be developed by a completely different team. Dying Light is more a successor to Dead Island 1 actually: same engine, same developer, same ideas.
If you really liked Dead Island 1, you should get Dying Light. I enjoyed it, but the game was filled with (game killing) bugs. So I have no hope in them anymore. This game looks like so much more fun as well, 8 player co-op!!
Yes, you can play online PS4 games. You can play anything you want (except titels that NEED the PS Cam or other peripherals). The Vita just receives the stream from your PS4 and sends back input. So the Vita is just a wireless display with buttons basically.
GTA IV was delayed as well....
Oh and Red Dead Redemption was delayed as well....
Oh and Max Payne 3 was delayed as well....
And the Online Heists are delayed for almost a year.....
So.... yeah, no delays here ! :)
Pokemon Open World MMORPG with next-gen graphics and engine?
THAT is the only game I would play for the rest of my life.
No scratch that, I'll just get an Oculus Rift/Project Morpheus and call myself a Pokemon Trainer. Clearly that life is better than this life.
That's impossible since the PS4 version has a higher traffic density, more population etc. Yes not just in single player, also online :)
And I don't consider PS3 friends as friends anyway. Either get a PS4 or get out of my list!
This is pretty stupid... You have to pre-order a last gen only title, in order to get access to a current-gen beta?
People who are willing to buy Dead Island have a PS4/X1, unless they still have their old gen around they can't play the beta. People who have a PS3/X360 can buy the game so they get access to the PS4/X1 game, which they might not even have..?
So this is ONLY interesting to people who own a PS3/X360 AND a PS4/X1. And the question is: the p...
Morgan Freeman:
Sometimes it makes me sad, though... Tommy being gone. I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up DOES rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend.
Yes. You just read that in Morgan Freeman's voice in your head. Yes ...

That makes no sense.... Dying Light is also first person.... And Dead Island 2 is also as much survival as Dying Light (you need to find items in order to survive). Also neither of them are really about survival. Dead Island 1 was just a zombie slaughter game, Dying Light is a copy of this with free running added.
If you want survival you're gonna have a bad time.
Nahhh Dying Light will be the game I do NOT want. Dead Island was awesome, but became repetitive and was filled with bugs. Dying Light uses a newer version of the same engine, by the same developers. If anything this means Dying Light will be just like Dead Island: repetitive, inspirationless and filled with bugs.
Dead Island 2 is the game Dead Island fans want! 8 player online co-op, Unreal Engine 4, completely different weapons and mechanics.
If you want th...
and fuck the Ubisoft-fanboys who disagree. They are even worse, getting screwed in the ass without even realizing it.
Wow thanks Ubisoft. Now me and all my friends can hack each other, like you guys initially said we could. Oh wait... all my friends got tired of Watch Dogs and sold it months ago...
Well here's to Watch Dogs 2! Which I WON'T buy!
Ubisoft is just making sure that they sell Assassins Creed on the old AND current gen consoles. By releasing one version for both gens, people who had the current gen system would obviously buy it for that system. But now, people might even buy TWO Assassins Creed games this year. Rogue for their PS3/X360 and Unity for their X1/PS4.
Ubisoft would never release ONE game for only the current gen and abandon the old gen. By creating two seperate games for both gens, everyone wil...
That's true. I'll just get DriveClub since I can try the PS+ edition for free. If I like it I'll upgrade to the full version. Project Cars will release after that anyway. Hopefully they will release a demo or something. I haven't seen much of Project Cars, but if you can't upgrade cars (like on Forza/GT) then I'll definitely pass. If I'm gonna play a sim racer, I'll definitely want to be able to upgrade and change my car!
edit: I just read this...
DriveClub has an average polygon count of 250.000 per car....
60.000 polygons @60fps (Project Cars) or 200.000-250.000 polygons @30 fps (DriveClub)
hmmmmm I think I'll go with DriveClub on this one!
I thought that was the plan of H1Z1, supporting cross-platform between PC and PS4. Planet Side 2 wil also be cross-platform between PC and PS4. H1Z1 uses the same engine and is from the same developers.
Also DC Universe is cross-platform (PC/PS3/PS4) from SOE too!
DayZ is already announced for the PS4 though.... At the Gamescom Sony event.
@dead_pixels this is COMPLETELY different than the Xbox One features, it's not even remotely the same. The Xbox One had Family Sharing initially, meaning you can share your games with other Xbox One users in the same 'family'. You could both acces the games, however the 'family' members had a time frame, after that the game would close and they had to purchase the game.
Share Play is TOTALLY different. With Share Play you can invite any player to play WITH...
