I'm loving this game, definitely worth the purchase. I've spent nearly 80 hours on the game so far, because other new releases just don't interest me.
Hell, i'm not getting a new game before Bioshock Infinite.
Good to see people voted with their wallets. Two great games, the first one more so, but the last was a nail in the coffin.
Hopefully we'll see another Lost Odyssey. The game was meant to be a trilogy, but that was put on hold, because the game didn't sell well.
I'm not so sure we'll see another Grandia game though.
The DMC HD Collection was good, but not the best of the bunch surely. It definitely needed more polish.
Your friend must really hate replay value then. These games are always short, just like all of the MG games are short as well.
I may end up getting a copy for PC and a next gen console. Console depends on if it's worth getting one.
Anyways, excited for this and The Witcher 3.
When $60+ games start having Microtransactions, we have a problem. I just simply won't support games that does this.
EA is one of the publishers trying to turn retail games into Smartphone and Tablet games. Read some of the interviews with the devs from Dead Space 3, it's disgusting.
People fear change, because corporate suits turn games into anything that feeds them money. The fact that EA thinks all games should be Smartphone games, says something is wrong.
I've seen good franchises take turns for the worse, and i just ended up not buying them at all. There are very few i respect nowadays, such as CDPR.
Prototype 1 had a ton of collectibles as well, but Protoype 2 added some sort of radar to track them down.
I'm an achievement hunter at heart, but i do find collectibles useless in many games. They're just there to increase gameplay time, instead of adding to the game overall.
Vanquish and Rage definitely needs a sequel. Brutal Legend could redeem itself, if it did away with the RTS part of it. That felt tacked on as a feature in the game.
It's fine that you can't master the controls of KB / Mouse. Not everyone is a good player, but don't come come up with any stupid claims, because you prefer controllers.
It's pretty laughable that people are defending the game, really.
Take a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watc...
It doesn't really matter what the engine is capable of, if you're not able to release more games. I think a few people have been dissapointed by them this gen.
The game is at max a 7 - 8. It falls short on what you expect in this genre.
Worst game of the decade already?
I don't think a lot of people know it, or wants to acknowledge it, but he does indeed not have anything to do with the game anymore.
The only thing he was involved with, was to get the team in place. After that he got kicked off to work on something else. That's what was revealed in the latest interview.
They said a lot of things, but they didn't know what they were doing.
Sadly, the chance of this being possible, is very low. Not enough people supported the game over the years.
It's not hard to squeeze out visuals like that, when the game is hardly going to be demanding on screen.
Yeah, i wasn't exactly excited about this DLC. I'm not sure why, but i almost always found Bioware's DLC to be lacking. I never pay full price for their DLC.
Lair of the Shadow Broker was an exception.
