The reason why people want 60 FPS next-gen is because the previous console generation was close enough to give us 60 FPS in some games and people therefor expect it when paying 400-500 bucks for yet another console generation that this time around certainly is powerful enough to deliver on that.

This doesn't matter as the PS4 uses an x86 architecture. Running a PS4 game on a PC devkit with similar specs is an almost identical equivalence. Lack of interest is not the same as stupidity.
Say that to the many Nintendo fans who never are gonna buy Wii U either. If not even the fans are interested, that's definitely because of a lack of games. Am i the only one who considers the insane amount of weapons and attachments a bad thing? It's impossible to keep track of what you should go for if you ever take a break from the game and come back. The old game was fantastic. The only problem i have with the remake is that the levels are EXACT replicas of the old ones with some a few added areas. We who played the old game don't really need to play the exact same levels again in better graphics. If they just would have created some new levels instead it could have been better.
Because they're playing it during an EXPO, in front of people expecting them to play Forza.
