Crazy, didn't see this coming.
Especially for a new service.
Whoa, didn't see that coming. Is it upscaled or did they upgrade the graphics? I'm guessing it's upscaled.
Just the ones that access the PS store. They could also be using the same PSN account on there PS3 with there PSP.
It is coming to PC. In fact, it was exclusive to PC before it was announced for 360.
To be honest, I think strategy games are played best on PC, not a console. But yeah, the more the merrier.
They're PC devs and this is also there first console game. Too bad I never heard of this game until now.
Right....
This doesn't mean they're replacing the price cut with a slim PS3. It would make more sense to introduce the slim PS3, cut the price of the older models, and sell both. Cutting out unnecessary components not related to gaming to keep the price as low as possible for the PS3 slim would make sense.
"The update will have one new feature PS3 owners wants. Sadly, it won't be immediately useful to us."
Sounds like another feature the developers will have to implement. Could be support for 3D trophies in Home. Then again, the interest for that hasn't really been there lately.
Screwing gamers and losing money in the process = EPIC FAIL
I can understand Microsoft is trying to establish a fan base in Japan but it's just not working. People in Japan are pretty pissed off that they brought a 360 for Tales of Vesperia just to see the complete version announced for PS3 in less then a year later.
It just won't notify you that your item(s) are done downloading until you exit the game to the XMB. You don't have to be signed into PSN to keep your content downloading that's from the store. It depends on the PS3 game for this situation. Some PS3 games will pause it automatically, some won't. I think it has something to do with the developers. Ratchet and Clank TOD doesn't pause your downloads. I haven't had a problem with this feature at all. It only pauses them when I play a game online. ...
I'm using AVG and it didn't pick up anything when I went to the link.
But I have to give it to Sony. They had more exclusive games, which I wanted to see from each conference. Most of the games showed off at Microsoft's show will be played on PC for me. Project Natal, Twitter, and Facebook didn't interest me at all. And as a far as Project Natal goes, it just seems like something for the casual crowd, not the hardcore gamers.
It seems like you can't handle them either.
It wouldn't make sense to put Natal against Sony's lineup. They are going for two completely different crowds(hardcore and casual) on two different systems(360 and PS3). I'm sure if they had plans on using Natal with Alan Wake, we would of seen it demonstrated at E3.
And there's buttons on it too, lol. There is no controller free gaming on Wii. The Wii fit board is a controller. Controllers will always be more effective and more responsive. How can you get more responsive then pressing a button? Natal will have an easier time getting casuals to use it. Can't say the same about the hardcore crowd. As promising as it looks, I doubt it's the future control pad. We need to see some games use it first, no tech demos.
All it requires is a lag switch to get inside of it.
PS3 or Wii doesn't have as many revisions because it doesn't need them. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The new PS3s prevent the GPU from overheating and consumes less power. You also can't forget they got rid of the 20GB PS3 and released a 160GB and 80GB PS3 which is an upgrade. Obviously 360 needed ALL of those revisions because the hardware wasn't reliable and it had problems. And the 512MB upgrade is necessary. You forget when 360 arcades needed more space for the new update? 128MB was a...
I hope they can turn this around. They need to work on the gameplay more then anything else. It's what really made MK2, MK3, and UMK3 fun games to play competitively. They need to get those elements back into the series. If it's really going back to the roots then make it play more like UMK3. UMK3 is the longest most played competitive MK game next to MK2.
Modern Warfare 2 is the only game on that list that I would be angry if PS3 didn't get it. The rest....meh. Seems like a pretty weak lineup IMO but them dropping support for PS3 wouldn't be any good at all obviously.
I paid $600 for my 60GB PS3 and $400 for my 20GB 360(both at launch) >_<
This is a huge steal. Any real gamer would agree. Seriously, that's cheaper then a Wii.
