It's great that Nintendo wants to communicate with gamers but the functionality of a well designed product should be apparent. If you need to go to great effort to "convince" your demographic about the uniqueness of your product then it sounds like Nintendo is tacking on extra layers of marketing because they are not confident with their new system. Long time fan of SF. Been playing since Street Fighter had 2 big buttons. Bought many iterations of their releases through to Ultra SF4 but I'm putting my foot down on SFV. When they release a future version that is finally a complete product and I'm not forced to play to unlock or pay to save time, then I will consider a purchase. As of now, excited for King of Fighters XIV. 50+ fighters and all modes available at launch...awesome.
Overwatch is a fun game. There is depth to having 21 characters with different abilities. Played the beta, enjoyed it more than I thought I would. That being said, the more colorful a reviewer's comments are, the more fluff there is to the review. Compare to Uncharted 4 reviews, less colorful adjectives in general, more straight comments about what makes the game great. With Overwatch, it sounds like reviewers are doing their best to make the game sound great. Plus points for Blizzard rep...
Fun, quality mp game... But it is a bit light on content. This title has a huge marketing budget, which explains the 9s and 10s.
Yes. I picked it up on launch at full price. Played it and shelved it after a while. I'm very impressed with the continued support. The community is still active as well.
