Nintendo’s biggest mistake was not the virtual boy, Wii U, or any other small mishaps they have had. The biggest mistake was selling Rare and all the IPs that came with it.
Banjo, Conner, Perfect Dark, Blast Corps, Killer Instinct, BattleToads, Jet Force, and not to mention the amazing licensed games (DK64, GoldenEye, Diddy Kong, etc.)

You say indifferent, but there's a reason why I play Nathan Drake over Laura, picked Leon over Claire, and my favorite fighting characters are dudes. As a dude, they are generally more relatable. Plus I can't help, but end up staring at Laura's assets as she's going through a cave.

His games have always been fun (never played DTL). Multiplayer games he created have been a blast as well, but there is something awesome about his dark story telling and character creation.
