They should try doing that in the company I used to work for. They reduced workforce to save money but they keep on spending hundreds of thousands of dollars traveling overseas to different sites. Sometimes they have their off-site meetings in exotic destinations. It will be great if they could only do it virtually.

I agree that an affordable product that can be upgraded later sounds like a great idea but what abut quality. Imagine in a 6 month period you have all you wanted in upgrades but you need to send the unit for repairs.
A person I know works in one of the 5 companies that repair Xbox 360, They get 4-5 trailer containers full of Xbox 360s each week to be repaired(this is one of the 5 companies). I was really impressed by the amount of stuff you get for $6.00. If you haven't gotten the pack. Get it. I is definitely worth it.
They cannot blame their incompetence on the Playstation architecture. Just ask Insomniac or Media molecule. Their games are awesome because they are good studios.

Demos help a lot. I don't trust reviews that much these days. I used to trust user reviews but the Fanboy war has ruined that too.

I'm playing the game and I love it. This is why we don't pay attention to reviews anymore. Obviously they judge based on what they like more than on the game values. In other words they don't judge in an objective way.
It's a normal evolution. In the old days they would send disk demos to members of the Underground. With the PSN there's no need for that. I'm sure by transferring the Underground status to the PSN it will help us get into Betas first. Some of the Betas I have tested I have gotten the access for being member of the Underground.
For a creative mind the so called "limitations" of 2.5D are a challenge that makes the whole experience even better; another element to plan for/deal with in creating a great level. LittleBigPlanet is without a doubt one of the best games ever created. Creative people are like fish in the water with this game.
