It is hard to see Nintendo recovering from the Wii U's slow start. It is an incredibly fun console and it will by the end of 2013 have the usual incredibly Nintendo franchises. But it just doesn't have the electric public hype the original Wii generated with the immediate "I want that" reaction swinging the Wiimote in games like Wii Sports had.
