It's people like pswi60 that make gamers in general look like a bunch of douchebags. He's right that we give pass to games like grand theft auto. The thing that he (and so many misguided members of this community) tend to overlook is the fact that killing cops in Grand Theft Auto is fun because it's just fun to try to outrun them. Whenever you shoot up a street in GTA, you don't feel like you would if you actually shot up a street in real life. They're two different things.

Well the most insane of the fanboys, the ones that post things that consist of "lol 360 suckorz," still get brought down to one bubble pretty commonly. The biggest problem is that a lot of users are essentially saying the same thing, but in complete sentences. Just because they can slightly formulate a sentence, people are like "hey words!" and give them MORE bubbles. It's a very strange cycle, to say the least.
Oh, and to those reporting this story, I really hope that this story doesn't get failed. It's not fueling any fanboy fire, and is really just stepping back and taking a fair look at what's going on with the site, its users, and the controversy around HHG. If N4G won't allow that on their site, then there really is no hope...

I'm not even sure that HipHopGamer is a contributing factor to the rampant fanboyism on N4G... I mean: Wouldn't the same people show up even without him? I'm not sure why N4G has attracted the crowd that it currently possesses, but I'd like to know. And not everyone here is all bad. EVERY once in a while there will be a fairly thought-provoking commenter who brightens up a thread.
