Platinum games stated that it did well enough, sold almost a million copies on a console with a 13 million install base compared to the first one between 2 systems with over 160 million install base.

That's what companies do, if you really want the game you'll buy the system, the rumor has it that Nintendo has agreed to pay for its development like how they did for bayonetta, cause the first one didn't really do too well in sales.
Wow a 2D Zelda game at no.1 that's not common haha. Just a heads up, but link to the past has a non-linearity to it once you reach the dark world, you could do certain dungeons before others like I'd always do the 4th one first or second so I could get the Titans mitts to upgrade the master sword early.
I can say that the reason nsmbu left a bad taste in many people's mouth was because it was released so closely to the 3ds one, even though so far each console has only gotten one mainline NSMB title.

I read the article, twice. I've personally never cared about what a system was called (as it doesn't stop me from buying/playing a console) and never heard anyone complain about a systems name until late last gen.
Bethesda has never put out anything other than 3 or 4 shovel ware games on Nintendo systems and I don't see that changing anytime soon, I've seen an interview a couple years ago where they even stated they never want to work with Nintendo.
Isn't "Nintendo" the official brand name for all their consoles.

No one ever calls Xboxs Microsoft Xbox/360/One or Playstations Sony PlayStation 2/3/4.
My only problem with the packs is that the Wii U version isn't getting the adventure mode maps.
I totally agree, it should have either been more dlc for the Wii u version, or a new 3ds exclusive sequel with an original story and based on the handheld Zelda games.
That's hard to do because of the 3DS hardware.

Oh yeah, hypocrite much? Motion control isn't innovative, but VR is? I'd rather flail my hands around and actually feel like I'm playing baseball, swinging a sword, etc, than basically have an AR phone strapped to my head. This isn't going to be full VR it's a nice step, but don't kid yourself.
The fact that people are so ready to believe Nintendo rumors as fact just goes to show the hate for Nintendo. It really doesn't matter what they do the majority of these so called "gamers" will never give Nintendo consoles a chance because they are not the "cool" game consoles. Every day it seems like their are at least 3 negative Nintendo articles.
So basically just make a ps4 while calling it a Nintendo? That's boring.
Well no wonder when capcom has only released 2 ports for the Wii U and that's all, megaman collection would've been a great fit, so would of the resident evil remasters, but they didn't even give the system a chance.
