Calling people who write about video games "journalists" is giving them way more credit than they deserve.
It can, and it'd be REALLY easy. They're just jerks.
But then they eventually get bought out by a big corp like Activision, EA or M$, have their games cancelled, and then get shut down. It's a vicious cycle of shit.
Every company desperately needs that. The idea that shareholders have a voice in a company is ludicrous and doesn't help anyone.
Yeah, that'd be nice. One of the main reasons why I never bought a Vita was because it didn't have video out. I never understood why they didn't release a TV dock with/for it, and when the Switch was announced I face-palmed so hard it hurt.
Yeah, I'd really like the ability to send messages to friends, or god forbid form a multiplayer party.
1) There's no point to having a 1080p screen if the games run at max 720p in handheld mode. It would actually make the games look worse.
2) The current battery is 4310mAh. An extra 700mAh isn't going to give you a noticable jump in gameplay time (probably 20 minutes). Just get an officially licenced battery pack from Anker. They give you exponentially more gameplay time.
I'm looking at my Switch on the dock right now. There is 1cm of space on each side between the dock and the analog sticks. There's no point in releasing a Switch Mini if it's only 2cm smaller in width.
Summary:
"It's good because I like it."
Awesome review... -_-
"Compatible with dock"
Anything smaller than the Switch won't be compatible with the dock. Dumb article.
My problem isn't competition, it's the splitting of friends lists that annoys me most. I don't want to have to check five different platforms to see which games my friends are playing. It's a pain in the f*cking ass.
"Developers usually make approximately 50% of all sales in retail stores (about $30 per game sold). The other 50% goes to distribution, vendors, and the retail outlet takes the smallest chunk (5-7%). Steam cuts out all of those middle men and only take 30% giving the developers 70%."
Also, big games net devs 75% after $10 million, and 80% after $50 million.
How would XBL get switch more demanding games? Are you implying that M$ Cloud could stream to Switch? M$ Cloud is a f*cking joke.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain there were more than zero games release in 2018, which makes them all better candidates for GotY than a shitty battle royale released in 2017.
"the last time"
Uh huh.
"before it's even a reality."
It is never going to be a reality on XBox. They didn't sell a pitch, they sold a flat-out lie.
Blah, 5e blows.
I'd personally argue that the complete lack of compelling games is a much larger issue than non-rechargeable controllers.
It's yet another point in a long list of failings.
F*cking love FF8.
