Sony was billions upon billions in the green back then, they were on top of gaming and they got a little arrogant.
They smartly designed and priced the PS4 to be profitable,their not gonna throw away all that work for VR, they'll sell it at a loss but not to the degree you're describing.
Thing is there's no must have software. Unless GT Sport uses it or a God Of War I'm not interested.

100-200$ is a colossal loss. If somehow this thing is miraculously successful and sells 2 million, their looking at 200-400million in losses if its sold at 399.
Nah about 200k first year if its 400$+. This thing is a serious investment for the majority of people and its just an accessory.
