I never played Socom for the PS2 (fat PS2 and I didn't want to buy the addon) but from the videos it looks pretty fun. I'm going to buy a hard copy for the headset. I just hope they have noob only servers because I've read that the hardcore are really hardcore. ><
This reminds me of the Ninja rope in Worms. Some of the best times I've had gaming was Ninja roping around in Worms online. And this takes it to another level.

Things have gotten a little foggy. I guess I'm off the replay both games but this time SotC first then ICO.
SotC is a prequel to ICO.
*SPOILER*
When you beat SotC the horned child from ICO is born and then in ICO the horned child has to help the princess (from SotC) escape.
So you can get a feel for how it looks from that.

Yea the game is challenging but it's harder to make a game fun than challenging. You could spend all day playing those Super Mario 'a$shole' custom levels and that would be challenging but not fun. NG2 is a grind with a cheap camera, cheap level design and cheap enemies. Just was Gametrailers review of NG2...
That's why GOW will always be better than NG.
