Developer will get more sales since some people will buy the game to play with the mod where otherwise they could discard it completely, modder earns money for his efforts so more great mods get developed, and gamers get to play some of their favourite games in VR where original developer never planned to release a VR mode. Everyone wins, where's the problem?

The real problem here is how an incredibly massive investment company like Black Rock and the like, one which can make almost any company rise or fall, is permitted to have any kind of political agenda, it's just wrong, because they can shape newspapers, game...
I agree with this, 2d to 3d was a change of paradigm, jumping from Super Mario World to Mario 64 was a quantum leap, a complete retool of how gaming works and was understood.
I think that only VR has done something similar, creating a new paradigm of how a game is played and understood, most of the other consoles and games are evolutionary improvements, some even revolutionary, but not paradigm-changing ones that completely redesigned how games are played.
Just checked Hogwarts legacy in VR with this, it's absolutely mindblowing being there and seeing all the tiny details, so much better than flatscreen version.
It's as easy or complex as you want, most of the big games like Hogwarts Legacy, Atomic Heart, etc, , hundreds of them (check flatscreen to vr discord) have some profiles already made, so you just load them and it automatically sets the best settings others modders have already found, so it's a matter of minutes, but of course you can tinker for hours to make it suit your needs.
let the lesson be learnt, any more woke crap games will be sent to die, even more if they destroy a well loved franchise.
Call it something else, i'm so tired of "reinventing" classic characters with different race/sex, throw some generic story and make a cheap buck.
I don't know if it's still possible, but if it still works, PLAY IT. It's a fantastic RPG on it's own, incredible graphics and story, well worth the Bioware name, i don't know how bad it was on release, but when i played years later it was a great single player RPG well worth playing.
Every GTA has always been a satire of the society it happened at, but if you ignore or submit to the woke culture nowadays, GTA will become part of the satire, and thus fail as a GTA game that always succeded by criticizing the society it happened within.
When you have to explain why this is game is not woke, that says it all about why it's more woke now.

Wow 20 negative votes lol you're so right, i didn't say that Starfield was amazing and i'm not even pro xbox, i don't like MS acquisitions at all, just that Starfield is not the worst thing ever like many people want to believe, the hate here is completely out of control.
That's why the first game was so ridiculously succesful that green lighted an even more ambitious sequel, because it wasn't sustainable, right...
