Eh i don't think DX12 will do much of anything for Xone other than the Esram will get better optimized.What people don't understand is OpenGL has all the features that DX12 has but more.With Vulkan coming out i can only see more optimizations for Ps4.Both API's work wonderful so i just don't see DX12 changing anything.

I agree with you i am very close to buying an Xone for those exclusives.I bought a Ps4 because i know Sony will deliver some awesome exclusives heck Bloodbourne,Until Dawn,Uncharted Collection are enough alone to buy the system.

Yup and most of those games the frame rate is just as good and better on Ps4.I know Project Cars looks and runs better on Ps4.The new Batman runs at 1080p vs 900p and runs at a better frame rate.GTA 5 runs better and has more effects such as grass and lighting.

I owned a BC Ps3 when it launched,i hardly ever played Ps2 games on it.What some folks here are saying is these remasters are like BC...the thing is no..they are not.The Last of Us is one of the better ports you can ask for 30fps-60fps 720p-1080p Textures got a boost,AA got a boost this is something i just don't see happening with BC for Xone.It's a nice feature but people want to play current gen titles not games that have released 2-7 years ago.
DX12 will help...mostly on Pc thanks to the fact DX until DX12 has been really bad using 4 or more cores.The issue with Xone is the API used is very much the same as DX12.

You realize when 360/Ps3 launched those consoles were barebone when it came to media features.It takes time to get all of these features.I would rather Sony to get the FW to work better.Media features will get here it takes time.I expect the 2.0 update to address some of the glaring issues like MP3 playback and DLNA.
This reminds me of the Ps1/Ps2 era for sure.Sony made a piece of hardware that can can speed up development time and make developing the game much easier.
