PC fanboys trolling an article for consoles to once again reiterate that the PC version will be graphically superior.
Sounds to me like someone's compensating for other "short comings". -_-
Why is this article tagged for PS3??
It doesn't f**king matter if it affects me or not. If I'm playing fair and earning my score legitimately, then others should have to play fair also...or if not, be at risk of a stat reset.
Oh no....they've got TONS of games to play. So we should be jealous ;)
it's not about the fact that its for PC...its about the fact that there seems to be a new "modded gta4" article every other week. And honestly, the screenshots always look great...so theres nothing really new here.
Plus, why the hell did this show up in the PS3 section on N4G???? I would report it as wrong tagging...but..I'm still a "trainee" :/
any suggestions on who?
Lol at your name.
And idk, if they did a day & night cycle for Metropolis...I think that could have some amazing potential.
Like I said a few comments above, it initially reminded me of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"....but I totally see what you mean, its spot-on.
I respectfully disagree (to the whole "boost if ya want, as long as it doesn't bother anyone) comment.
I consider boosting to be cheating as it boosts your rank unfairly. I think boosters who get caught should get their rank levels reset to 1...and the more hardcore cheaters get the permanent ban hammer dropped on their ass.
Looks like the "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" cover to me. lol
"all us"?....as in, all us pc gamers? Maybe the pc gamers will, but you can't guarantee that for "all us" console gamers.
Interesting read..
Kinect 2.0? AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!
I'm sure it's gonna be a hit! ;)
Yeah I doubt they were. lol
But what do you expect? You can't just assume everyone's gonna know what a beta is for.
Plus; if you're gonna say the console graphics are "top notch" and that it's pushing the consoles' limits, while not showing us any real MP console footage, and hyping the shit of out this game....how do you expect us to react to our first real impression of the game in the form of the beta?
Like it...
Amen!
Who assumes that everyone's even gonna know what a beta is for? A lot of people lost confidence in this game from the beta, whether the fanboys like it or not.
You can preach the whole "its only a beta" thing all you want, but is that gonna take the sour taste out of people's mouth? Is your preaching gonna change their mind?
BUT, if a decently polished beta was released, you wouldn't see & hear 90% of the compl...
"People forget that a beta is there solely for testing the game and making the retail version better."
100% True, but the big problem is that A LOT of people "forgot" that. I know tons of people that don't read gaming news online who played the beta and said "I wasn't impressed with BF3".
Idk: Yes, its only a beta...but like it or not, it's also inevitable that the beta became a marketing tool to the general public, a...
^BF3 CAN sell 12 million+ copies...but what we're saying is that the beta has done almost nothing to help those sales.
Those 12 million downloads are the result of all the hype that has generated over the months for this game.
If the game is awesome when it launches, then it will be super successful. But once again, the beta hasn't really done much in backing up the hype...and thats all this article is really about.
^tsunami901-- Where's the demo? Oh yeah, I forgot...it doesn't exist.
Like it or not, a first impression is exactly what it's called...a FIRST IMPRESSION. Guess what that was for tons of people new to Battlefield...the beta.
Im not talking trash on DICE, and I haven't lost all hope on the final product being badass. But face it, DICE kinda messed up by having this beta be all the console gamers can go by in terms of FIRST IMPRESSIONS.
...
Kleptic really hit the nail on the head there.
I, personally, have never played a battlefield game before; so I was SUPER excited to play the beta to see what all the hype was about.
All I got was a bunch of snipers, in bushes, getting what seems like one-shot-kills on me.
Battlefield fans are saying that that's not how the final game will be...or that that's not how battlefield is in general. But how the hell am I supposed to know/be...
Depends on your definition of better. For some/ alot of people, those "extras" ARE enough to make one game better than the other.
