Played the demo loads but for some reason I just didn't on with the main game. Shame that this and 007 Bloodstone proved to be Bizarre Creations swansongs. Damn you Activision and your money grabbing ways!
My vote goes to cheaper digital games, without the packaging and distribution costs there's no reason why they shouldn't be cheaper. Retail is already way too pricey in certain stores, Game were charging £55 for Bloodborne and The Order at launch.
I understand when a developer holds certain content back when they deem it isn't up to the quality standards gamers expect but come on Activision you are screwing gamers over by doing this, especially with the over inflated pricing of your dlc.
Not at all, I would expect the same kind of backlash if Microsoft or Nintendo did this. Making this about console fanboyism is naïve.
What I will say though is that no-one has mentioned that the price is merely a placeholder and is guaranteed to drop before release. This site has just jumped to a big conclusion.
Worser than Mickeys Speedway USA?
Surprised to see Banjo Kazooie with such a dominant lead but it was quality. I voted for Goldeneye but the majority of that list is pure gold and I would welcome remakes or sequels any day.
That maybe, but in honesty I've already lost one TV to videogame rage and I'm not sure I can be prepared to lose another.
I honestly want to get into this and the souls games but I honestly fear for the safety of my nice new TV.
I'll throw my hat in and say
Fallout 4 (hopefully)
Zelda Wii U
Star Wars Battlefront
Rainbow Six
Quantum Break
I'd also include Uncharted 4 and Halo 5 and hopefully out of nowhere Half Life 3.
I get where you are coming from and I wholeheartedly hope that you are right.
The only thing I will say is about the Zelda title comment. Twilight Princess was a Gamecube exclusive at first but once the Wii was announced the cube version was delayed so that Twilight Princess could release at the same time. Plus in most countries it was the Cube version that arrived late (only by a few weeks) so you can see my trepidation that this may happen again.
Plus I was...
Bloody hell I only got the Wii U last year and now a new console. Even though they say that the Wii U will stick around we all know that it'll get forgotten about months after release of the NX, which has to be a response to being so far behind the competition.
I also have a feeling that this may delay Zelda now so that it can be a cross platform title and launch on the new console.
Don't like the mobile games plan either, they'll more than likel...
I have the Seagate Expansion, works like a dream but I went for the 3tb version just so didn't it fill up too quickly.
Really good read mate. As a huge Bond fan I'm just as disappointed as you that we haven't had a decent Bond game in years.
I loved Goldeneye64, all the EA titles(except TND, 007 Racing and Goldeneye Rogue Agent), didn't mind QoS and really liked Bloodstone. Goldeneye Reloaded and 007 Legends were completes travesties. A shame really as I had the idea of a game that brought the best missions from the films into one game years ago, I put the idea in a letter to EA ...
If only Xur had the similar dialogue to the merchant.
"Not enough strange coins stranger"
This is how the HD version should have looked in the first place.
Will you be monitoring all of Gameondaily's reviews from now on?
I think that is the first time I have ever seen a game compared to a condom.
Just give me Fallout 4 and I'll sound as a pound.
Yeah I'm kinda glad I decided not to get this on release. Though saying that I may give it a go when the price eventually drops.
Picked this up last week and have yet to get stuck in. Hopefully this weekend. Great review though.
