Most of the areas we saw till now are rehashed from the original Okami, along with the Music Tracks, it seems that Capcom are too scared to tamper with the original formula.
Okamiden looks like a downsized, rehashed, shorter version of the Original Okami.
And considering that the people who made the original Okami so great are no longer there, I have no hope for this game, it might be a fun experience but it won't be nearly as memorable as Okami 1.
When the original team who made the first Okami is no longer there.
Unless its outsourced to its Original developers (who now resides at PG) then I don't care what Capcom makes, they already raped DMC and RE.
Anyone should expect a fantastic game at this point.
Like The Slow Mo and Boost for example, if you remove them, it wouldn't be Vanquish since those are one of the main pillars of the gameplay.
Incredibly bada$s.
As far as sales are concerned, It's obvious that Gears 3 will sell better, (Established Franchise, Multilayer, American, etc..)
But the Vanquish looks better quality wise, its no wonder since Mikami (who made RE4 that actually inspired Gears) is making Vanquish.
There's been a new footage from Firstplay recently, everyone who is interested in the game should have a look at it

Epic Lolz.
Looks phenomenal.
The Train level looks like it will be good change of pace.
He can do it again with Vanquish.
or a new game... since we are close to TGS, its only logical to make the important announcements there.
Probably something not important like an artbook.
As for DLC, Kamiya once said he won't do it since he wanted to pack everything into the disc.
First of all, SEGA "gives up"? Did he just pulled that from the depths of his anus?
SEGA has a lot of great looking hardcore titles coming up for consoles and handhelds (Vanquish, Shogun 2, Yakuza 4, Valkyria Chronicles 2, Sonic Colors, etc...) While they will release games for Smartphones and such (just like every damn company there is) doesn't mean they will abandon console gaming, the authors logic is really screwed (as well as his spelling)
Secondly,...
You are contradicting yourself.
If Sega (Consumer&Arcade teams) had contributed to profit (which were not minimal), how can you blatantly discredit them and say its just "SSH not SEGA" ?
We all know that the pachinko machines made the majority of the profits, but the arcades contributed a lot too.

The Consumer division also got a major bump over last year (This year losses were 6 Million, last year it was 52 million ), and The arcade scene also contributed a lot to their profits, so yes its Sega.
They've been awesome (Valkyria Chronicles 1 & 2, Bayonetta, Virtua Fighter 5, Empire Total War, Yakuza 3, After Burner Climax, Madworld, House of the Dead Overkill, Yakuza Kenzan, Yakuza 4, Phantasy Star Portable, Condemned 1& 2 etc...)
They get most of the hate based on the quality of Sonic team's titles... Give them a break already.
Besides, Vanquish and Shogun 2 Total War looks hot, I hope they also sells well... Sonic Colors looks surpris...
The slow motion is limited, and sucks up your energy bar fast, its also only activate-able under certain circumstances (aka you can activate it while standing or running for example)
As for the QTE, Shinji Mikami has a record of implementing the QTE in a fun way (Resident Evil 4, GodHand) so I'm not worried.
And it looks identical.
SEGA had the PS3 version in the SEGA booth this E3, and the 360 Version was in the MS booth.
Every report claimed they looked absolutely identical.
I like how one of the robots transforms into a cover to protect his friends :P
"God Hard"... This is an obvious reference to Mikami's cult classic: "God Hand"
But it's surprisingly great, though its missing a few titles (like you said PSII) But overall its better than many lists I've seen so far.
