Yes, because I really don't want another "Red Dead Redemption situation".
Xbox One at launch, and a PS4 within the next two years. The Xbox One's tech fascinates me more, and it has some pretty interesting games coming out on and around launch day, not the least of which is Titanfall. The PS4, unfortunately, only has one launch title that fascinates me, and that is Knack. Will wait till a Ratchet or Naughty Dog game is announced, and then I'll get a PS4.
My favorite protagonist of the series is either Niko Bellic or Victor Vance.
Wow, this is very exciting news. More and more incentive for me to buy an Xbox One.
Looking forward to how the touchpad will benefit gaming; same thing with the Kinect 2.0.
Why is Knack a fanboy game? It looks like a fantastic platformer, to me.
Ryse looks good, but Titanfall will definitely be the Xbox One's killer app. It looks amazing.
I, for one, think this is a pretty good idea. Back before MS revoked their policies, they were very excited for this, utilizing their DRM to create bigger and better things, with the cloud, Azure. Now that the restriction has been lifted, developers cannot tell whether or not someone has an internet connection, so they won't bother as much with the cloud in single-player campaigns. Bring back the cloud, Microsoft, and reintroduce your once revolutionary Xbox One.
Why does everybody have to go all fanboy and blast the fact that their hardware is better? Playstation 4 and Xbox One will both feature amazing-looking games, with huge worlds and clarity that wasn't possible before; and both have multiplatforms that look identical, and run about the same, with the only difference being timed exclusives. Buy a PS4 or an Xbox One for the exclusives that interest you the most, not for the tech. Oh, the same goes for the Wii U. I'll have all three before...
Wow, has anyone actually read this article? Now, I'm not saying either one will have a better line-up, I'm saying that this article is extremely biased. I hate bias.
I'd have to disagree with you on the whole difficulty spike thing. Playing through Bioshock now, and I can say that it is slightly easier than Bioshock Infinite, which is a good thing, as I died a lot in Bioshock Infinite. About half way through 1999 Mode, which is damn hard. I'd have to say the most overrated game this gen was Heavy Rain, though still a great game.
Aw man, that blows.
You're right, I apologize.
I actually have played Half-Life 2. You know how I said that Bioshock is the second best FPS of all-time? The best is Half-Life 2.
You've just described the formula for every FPS ever made, minus the Elizabeth part.
Well, here's a list of the Xbox One titles we're most excited for: http://leetgamers.asia/top-...
Most likely mine, as well, but there are so many great launch titles that it's a bit hard to choose.
Yeah, but it doesn't really matter if a console doesn't have games you want to play. Buy a console for the games that appeal to you, not the tech. Both consoles have impressive-looking games, so it's gonna be a hard choice, but one that has to be made.
You have fun, as well.
That is the case. It's gonna be amazing, but it still hasn't excited me enough to put it on a top 8 list.
