Today - "Survey: 75% Of Parents Think Violent Video Games Contribute To Actual Violence"
Tomorrow - "Survey: 100% of those 75% parents bought their teenage kids Black Ops 2 for Christmas, an M-Rated game."
I love these types of people. Hypocrites.
Apple - They can charge you 800$ for a phone thats an inch longer
Sony - Can't charge more than $400 for a next gen system that will have noticeable improvements.
I love the world we live in.
Puppeteer looks fantastic. That Halloween trailer they had made me pre-order the game. The creativity is abundant, something which most games nowadays lack.
The developer/publisher.
Good. Don't ruin your reputation with that POS.
I'm looking at the sky but I don't see anything about the future.
@darthv72 Yeah it was disastrous because they had to keep replacing Xbox's which is why they lost a lot of money this gen from the Xbox. Also who knows what future disasters it could have on Microsoft. Maybe people won't feel safe buying the Xbox at launch...maybe they will. Hard to determine right now.
What really hurt Microsoft is the RROD. I think this time around consumers might be watching Microsoft more carefully because of the disastrous launch of the 360 which was caused by the obsession to launch ahead of the PS3.
Sorry but it uses the Call of Duty engine. It can't be that much of an improvement of what we have already seen.
No dev is better than ND at creating Crash games. Why you may ask? BECAUSE ND INVENTED CRASH.
Watching Jersey Shore gives you cancer but you don't see articles on this.
Yeah Sony does make movies. I don't know if you know this but recently one of their smaller films (Skyfall, I don't think you would recognize it) became the 14th film in box office history to surpass the billion dollar mark. Not much of an accomplishment though.
/s - I have to put this in case people think I'm being serious.
Are you seriously comparing the War Z To the Sly Cooper franchise? Please get the fuck out.
Sly isn't a new IP.
Also most mobile games are touch screen only. You don't feel as immersed as you do when you actually push buttons and move analog sticks. I just can't get into touch screen only games. They seem so limited and hard to control.
@Belking, So what? There is a 100% chance we will get a GT 6 but it's not up there because it's not announced. How can you say a game is "upcoming in 2013" when it's not even announced...
It was never announced. I have no idea why they even put that one up there...
This is good the game was superb. I think Far Cry 3 is the best selling in the franchise so it would be a good bet to them making a Far Cry 4.
At least someone has the balls to do it publicly. Someone famous I mean cause I know the average internet user already expresses their hate for Kotaku.
Who said anything about buying a phone for $800? I'm sorry but I think you should read what I wrote again. I said that Apple gets away with charging ridiculous prices when they don't innovate something but other companies can't charge the same amount for their products even if they do innovate. Just so you know, an Iphone 5 is $800. Even if you buy it with a service plan it will still add up to $800 because you pay a monthly fee.
