I disagree with the notion that "I need to do my homework". Why would looking at tech sheets and reading second-hand impressions make sense when I can hook my console up directly to the TV and see it in action? Image quality was inferior not only to my new 1080p OLED, but my old 1080p plasma as well. 4K TVs are good for native 4K content, but if you're content is primarily 1080p (like most console games), you should stick to a 1080p se...

I thought the first game was a lot of fun but it's definitely aimed at a younger audience.
Agreed, it's not a 1080p vs 4K debate. I'm only suggesting that for console games you don't move to 4K until consoles are themselves outputting at 4K. Based on my experience of actually playing PS4 games on six different 4K sets, you won't get the best image. Stick with a good 1080p set, OLED if possible.
