I just downloaded one for Forza Horizon 4.
It looks amazing on my 1080TI. Very well optimised game, and a great quality demo too. I found a windmill on top of a hill and must have spent a good 5 minutes just taking in the graphics.
I actually thought it was extremely underwhelming. Bad Company 2 is miles above this, the graphics look insane on my PC though.

Yeah, I don't really know why people are comparing this to the Xbox's always online thing. It's actually just very similar to your PS+ free monthly games. People are going a little overboard with their reactions in my opinion.
Isn't this a little different though? It's games from the online subscription so aren't Nintendo just checking if you're still subscribed? It's not that different from PS+ games. Although once a week check-ins is a little overkill.

Have my PS4 Pro for those unmissable exclusives, Switch for Nintendo first parties and Indies, and my PC for everything else including game pass for £1 (for Forza Horizon 4).

Great input bud. A lot of people are enjoying the beta so this "lame fad" will be around a lot longer. Don't get too upset.
I'm not a huge fan of the genre, but there aren't actually very many BR games, far less than other genres out there. Also, it seems to be popular at the moment so why wouldn't developers want to try to implement it? That being said I can't see it sticking around forever.
