Sounds like the problem lies with you, not the gaming industry. There is plenty to be enjoyed, I'd say more than any other previous generation of consoles, and there is a lot to be excited for. And your "shit networking and loading times" where never even around before, so be thankful you can actually play with your friends, and the rest of the world for that matter from the comfort of your own house.

As a PS4 owner since launch I must say some of the games Sony has offered are nice, but there hasn't been much in the way of groundbreaking. I think they are in need now of a great title or two, which really do catch on with consumers to ensure the momentum of the PS4 stays.
