It's never. They're not going to overtake cod when it pretty much doubles BF sales. Cod's fanbase is huge, you just don't hear much from them on the Internet because they're not as vocal and whiny as BF fans.
I agree. It's funny that you mention Hardline, Battlefield fans seem to forget how bad that game was, I guess Cod is the only thing that's allowed to be bad then. I swear every battlefield article has numerous comments on how BF is going to destroy Call of Duty, but you never see Call of Duty fans doing the same, yet Cod games continue to sell double that of BF. Battlefield 1 will be no different.
After seeing the Battlefield 1 reveal, I'm still not a fan of Battlefield.

No it won't lol. Modern Warfare will allow it to sell heaps. If you're talking about gameplay then, again, it won't. Call of duty is still very popular believe it or not, and sells a whole lot more than Battlefield for a reason. It's just that Cod fans are far less vocal than the Batllefield/cod-hating crowd.

Wouldn't you have realised that by seeing the teasers and trailers etc? It was pretty clear how the game was going to play.

How? They're completely different styles of game. I'm not too keen on either, however I much prefer Call Of Duty. Battlefield is extremely slow and frustrating for me, the only one I enjoyed was Bad Company 2.
No they didn't change it from Ghosts 2 last minute. They've been working on this for nearly 3 years, and they didn't just change the name lol, it's a completely different setting, period of time etc.
That being said I'm really not that excited for Infinite Warfare. Hopefully it surprises a bit.
