Why can't he be serious? I do the same thing and I have some 30fps games running a lot more smoothly thanks to my television. Just as long as the input lag isn't made so bad.
Maybe you should look at newer models of tvs.
Bloodborne plays a lot more beautifully thanks to my tv.
Steam & PS4 for me. Nothing else needed.

Love the way you get disagrees but actually have a point. Only when the Xbox One X releases will these people realise that very few games will be actual true 4k, and not Microsoft's version on "True 4k".
I would have complained because I can't stand the Windows store, most of the content is overpriced. I'd much prefer it on Steam.

Wrong. Steam destroys consoles with it's sales prices. As a PS4 owner I find PS Store to be very overpriced when compared to Steam.
I've picked up over 10 games for under £30 in total, including Shadow of Mordor for £3. Absolute steal.

They're hardly "old" games though, have you seen the quality of the Crash remakes? Easily pass as modern day games, plus they're fan favourites.
Yeah. I don't get why people bring up Cod, granted the Variety map pack fiasco is a bit much but the content they offer for DLC isn't all that bad. Best example for DLC value is Gearbox with the Borderlands series. That was some great value in my opinion.

Hang on. Why am I a fool for preferring Destiny over Halo? They're both competitive, you clearly haven't played Destiny for more than 10 minutes. I had some great fun on the game, granted I picked it up with the DLC. Halo is very limited to what Destiny has to offer.
Also, I like the way you conveniently left out the matchmaking issues experienced on the latter Halo games, and the poor story of number 5. How about you respect that not everyone is going to agree with...
