You are right, Nvidia also has better support for gnulinux and I believe an inch smaller. But overall it seems that the HD 6990 is SLIGHTLY faster while consuming more power and producing more noise although it is cheaper. Performance is negligible and it ultimately comes down to features. Price.performance can be dismissed since both cards have terrible ratios and people who are interested in buying it, wont care too much about the price.
Nahh, just get another 570 then BAMMM!!!! Almost equal performance (lol) to the 590. That's what im going to do.

I agree with an open world environment but I don't know I see the game being linear but nonetheless it shall be a heck of a game.
Metro 2033 was definately one of my favorites this year but I'd say Heavy Rain or God of War 3.
Well for a game of such graphical magnitude I'd imagine there being problems but as long as it's fun and playable then I do not mind.
Hot damn, recently these Kinect hacks have been quite spectacular. I might even pick up the Kinect xbox 360 bundle for christmas!!!
Based on my observations of numerous comparison videos, I concluded that both games look amazing and are both really fun to play! YAY!!!
