But it's not required for games that have already been released. It's only required for future games. No matter what game, it has to require trophies.
I wish someone would say that already & stop posting these articles of developers not patching [enter old PS3 game released here] for trophies.
The real concern is worrying if future PS3 games will support custom soundtracks.
Sony isn't doing anything to help? People complained, they pulled it, and they're trying to fix it.

He had a modified version of the 2.40 firmware that allowed him to play his music on any PS3 game. But it would be pretty stupid if they didn't add it IMO.
Which could easily pull it ahead of 1 million if it sold .75 million in the U.S. alone. I don't know how a game selling close to 2 million is a flop. They profited off it. The game wasn't even bad, it was OK. Since when was a 70% or 79% terrible? Frontlines Fuel of war scored a 77% but I don't see you guys calling it terrible or trash. I'm not saying KZ2 is going to a AAA title but you guys are acting like 70% or 77% is a mediocre score.

I'm pretty sure they tried making it as easy as they could to add them. They can't force them because at the time it was never a requirement when they started development on the game but it's an option to games out right now. Criterion is managing to add them just fine. I don't know why you sound so upset.

My favorite games from them was Bloody Roar 2 on PS1 & Bloody Roar 3 on PS2. All the Bloody Roar games after that were straight trash.
Sony has already said adding trophies to future PS3 titles will be mandatory. They're not making people patch games to support them in newer games further into development or games already released. Everyone should be more concerned about in-game music. Well, for the people that care about the feature....

The PS3 games I brought were never guaranteed to support trophies and it never promised to me that it would. If it gets added to older games then it's a gift from the developers. I look forward to games this year supporting them though.

I'm glad they didn't make it 3D, add new sounds, or anything like that but decided to keep it old school. I'd gladly buy this if it came to the PSN or XBL. I hope other developers follow with this.
