As a multi-platform gamer. I don't trust any company. PlayStation isn't better to me as I like the Xbox Elite controller better than the Dual Sense Edge for FPS. And I can hook up more external hard drives to my Xbox amogst other things.

Unique PS experience? First party PS5 games are already on PC. At the end of day, these companies are running a business and need to make money. Having your games out there on as many platforms as possible = more money. It not about a fanboys feelings.
Sega Saturn was one of the all time greats. PS1 couldn't not match its 2d prowess
I remember PS1 versions of fighting games would be missing animations because it didn't have enough RAM. With it being $100 dollars more then PS1 upon lunch and the move to 3d and past failures haunted them.

Yes, I pray they do not add boring RPG elements into this. Those two open levels in Gears 5 were painful. Linear games are a rarity now and we don’t need another RPG.
