cant wait to actually play this great game, bought it yesterday but unfortantly college requires my attention for 2 test, ill have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to play it :(.
i already thought with my 2x gtx 580s i was getting enough fps at max settings(with dx11 and all the goodies) at 1080p but more fps and better graphics, now id welcome that mod to my harddrive.
glad to see more crysis 2 mods, although in my opinion very few of the "good mods" for games currently being developed have yet to be released, this is a generalization for the mod community not at stab at crysis 2, "cough black mesa source cough".

swbf2 did have air combat, in some levels there were air wars and you could also move around on the battlecruisers.

i thought the graphics looked great, you could tell the textures were high resolution. how are ppl developing mods for this game, theres no kit. first theres the developers console hack and now this, how are ppl making these????? 9 fps for a mod is pretty damn bad, he either its demanding as hell or he has a bad computer, but its most likely the ladder of the two.
its a good game overall, just finished the demo on steam. short but it looks beautiful and plays great. pretty demanding, uses a lot of gpu memory, monitored mine and it got close to 1000mb at max settings, not demanding on the cpu, temps were below 50c on my liquid cooling setup. definitly worth trying it!!!
im starting to get the feeling alot who submit articles on n4g.com hate pc gaming industry, and want it to die. too bad suckers cuz it aint goin no where and itll be around for a long time to come, steams rediculous sales are proof that pc gaming is actually better than console gaming. where else can u get rediculous sales at, oh i know, STEAM!!!

im am greatful that n4g.com is reporting for once, a positive article articulating how pc gaming is surging. starcraft 2 is a great example, there are so many youtube channels dedicated to this game its insane now. windows vista was crap now that i look back, and dx10 didnt have alot of games compared to dx11.
yeah its pretty much just a useless client without a beta key attached to your battle.net account, worthless until they release those but it should be before september 30th which is when this quater ends.
gotta have the latest internet explorer or whatever internet surfing tool you use. also allow it to add something google, a lil icon on the bottom of the screen poped up, i allowed it, clicked the link again and it worked for me.
it has a link to the diablo 3 beta, no viruses or anything. seems legit, will report back later! downloading it from blizzard as we speak, no password or anything just a straight beta client download
i was hoping the spec requirements would be a bit higher, iD is known for introducing demanding cutting edge game engines. look at doom 3 back in the day, that was pretty demanding.
very impressed their adding 3dvision to the game, i dont think too many indie developers do that. would defintly like to try that out. wish they didnt remove the benchmark.
