What we saw looked good.
Definitively in engine and I believe that it runs on the actual hardware in realtime.
Car models are decent I can se some low poly areas in those pics and there hare some flat looking details and or ones hiden or missing. Also the lightling is less impressive than DC. But by no means a bad looking game. Clean, sharp, rich and stylish.

PS4 itself is not BC with ps3 games, it is only through the GAKAI streaming service that you will be able to enjoy ps3 games provided you have little latency and decent bandwith capacity.
Ps4 will not support Ps3 save files either for those who are going to transfer to Gakai/ Ps4 version from a ps3. It must be a game specific feature because PS4 does not support this natively.

Well Seems to me Microsoft are handling the noise over this better than sony did in 2011. Both services are down from time to time. Sony more often take down psn or parts of it for maintainance and tweaking security, but people seem to pretend Microsoft never does this nor do they get hacked, but they do as their live have been breached.

I can assure they last longer. If you do not charge them correctly the battery may die faster. I have worn up a controller or two, I had a DS2 that lasted for 5 years with no major problems, then I opened it in an attempt to clean & fix it and then nothing worked lol.
One of my previous DS3 have had the left analouge stick leaning slightly forward when I let go... annoyance in menu's and fps but I had a another controller so I started using that more instead.

Gamestop managed to sell a game at a higher price used than new. My brother bought me Bionic commando used for christmas once and when I visited gamestop again like four days later I found a new copy of the game and it was priced lower.
Then I had to see if the used price was changed, but it was still the same... wtf.

Ps3 were 600, only it were high end back then and sold at a major loss considering the hardware was worth twice its price tag not counting anything to cover r&d cost etc.
Ps4 hardware looks to be mid end to me so about 400 would be a reasonable price I think.

Im sure we will see some 4k native games, only those will be mostly psn and indie games. AAA games will be pretty much or most certainly always be 1080p.
It will be like the ps3 in a way. Everything but most games will be supporting and running the highest res possible.
1080p will be allright for a few years, but PS5 got to nail at least 4k standard for its big titles because it makes sense that 4k and 8k will be pretty widespread and affordable 5-10 years f...

But ps4's new eye isnt using the same tech as the Kinect either. So Sony copies kinect, but kinect isnt a copy of eye toy?

It means that the pad is very precise. Thats a decent resolution on such a small surface. Resolution isnt only a term used for screens and photos etc but for other things as well.
A pc mouse have a sensor resolution, touch surfaces have a resolution and cameras too. Think of resolution as a thing that goes both ways.
In form of an image that we can see or in form of an image that a computer would see.
Hopefully the final game won't have jaggies like that.
I think that with the ps4 we shouldnt have to see jaggies anymore. If ps3 can do high budget games with superb AA like God of war then ps4 should manage to get rid of them completely.
Making games on ps4 with jaggies is kind of like making cars with carburetors in 2013.
