I don't know why this is so difficult for people to comprehend, as you simply stated above is all that happens on the PC. With the consoles it may just be presets though rather than a load of different user configurable settings. I could just about play ARMA 3 on my old PC and turned clgraphics options down to get a decent framerate. When I upgraded I continued to play ARMA 3 but at a higher resolution and more graphical touches, it's still the same game, everyone still plays it but ...
I can't see Activision doing this with Call of Duty or EA with Battlefield, would be great if they did and a big selling point for XBOX
"If you're a PC gamer? Sorry but now that all MS games will be on PC, there's no reason for a PC gamer to get an X1."
I have a very capable gaming PC that can run any of the current releases yet I still spend more time gaming on my PS4 or XBOX One, why? Ease of use and the speed and simplicity of getting into the game is one lf the main reasons. I work long hours and come home and sometimes I just can't be bothered downloading driver updates and configuring thin...
You don't need to buy the collectors edition for the "full experience" neither do you have to buy the DLC to enjoy the game. My nephew and I play Battlefield 4, he used to mainly play on his XBOX One but now plays a lot more on his PS4. He had the premium content on the XB1 but bought BF4 cheap in the recent sale on PS4 so he could play with me online. He doesn't want to spend the extra on the premium content right now because in a months time he plans on playing BF1 but tha...
I really like the way Phil Spencer has led the XBOX team. Don Mattrick never came across like he understood anything about what made the XBOX so popular and what gamers wanted but Phil Spencer seems to get it and is pushing the XBOX brand back into a successful era again. Granted the XBOX team has not had much to crow about but its been nice having a little less radio noise from the likes of Greenburg and Hyrb. During the dominance of the 360 they were really quite unpleasant and egotistical ...
I did try to cancel my pre-order for PS4 because of the lack of support for Fanatec wheels but Sony support dragged their heels responding so I kept it and glad I did, I think its worth buying
It is a bit of a glaring omission for online gaming but they have said they are looking into adding it, they do listen to their fans and I don't think it will be long before its added.
How on earth can a racing fan think there are too many Spa's?
I'm really pleased for people like Phil Spencer because he stepped up to lead the team at a bad time and seems like a genuine person who really gets what gaming and the XBOX should be about. Its just a shame he has people like Greenburg and Hyrb who often post so cynically with barbs aimed at their competitors. Greenburg has not had much to crow about and while Hyrb has been a little more humble of late I hope this success does not see a return to the spite we saw before which just whippe...
How does rubbish like this get approved? Its an advert masquerading as an article, no mention of the Logitech G920 or the Fanatec CSW V2 which is arguably the best wheel available for the XBOX One. Either the writer doesn't have a clue about what he is writing about or this site was paid by Thrustmaster to write the article and they have not disclosed it.
I'd like to see Microsoft license the XBOX platform to manufacturers much like the mobile phone scene. If you want to go all out you can build a PC but if not and you just want a box to plug in under your TV with a streamlined OS you could buy a Samsung or HTC built XBOX console.
Probably my favourite game of this generation, whenever I fire up my PS4 or XB1 I tend to play RB6 Siege
Pesky video games, how are his priests going to molest those young people if they are home playing video games and not in church?
I hope this game gets the success it deserves on the consoles. I play a variety of games across PC, XBOX One and PS4 such as iRacing, RaceRoom, PCars, Forza and Gran Turismo and Assetto Corsa has some of the best tyre modelling and physics out there. Kunos has always gone for a more realistic approach and helped push racing sim technology over the years starting with the free to play NetKar and then their first paid title NetKarPro and Assetto Corsa follows that tradition.

Since buying it last Christmas its been pretty much my 'go to' game that I generally play each time I fire up my PS4 or XBOX One, extremely addictive and a nice change from the futuristic settings in CoD.
Loving this on PC and looking forward to playing it on PS4 and XBOX One. Porsche in a proper racing sim is well overdue
I don't think that's how it works, the game is tied to your Microsoft account and so wont let you play simultaneously on PC and Xbox One. That said I think Microsoft is in a really good position now its using the Windows 10 codebase to its full potential, unifying its mobile, gaming PC divisions. I don't think the Xbox brand s going anywhere, it will evolve as needed.
Gamers will just get ripped off on trade-ins. In the UK GAME offer very poor trade-in prices, on two occasions their staff have implored me to go away and sell privately when I enquired about trade in prices. You'll be lucky if they give you £80 for a used XBOX One. I'll give mine to my grandson and upgrade him from his 360.
So Twiggy, if Wee Jimmy Krankie gets her way and has a second referendum, will you vote for Scottish independence?
The first game was ok, nothing spectacular but fun, I've bought the sequel on XBOX one rather than PS4 as it feels right to have it on XBOX because of the first one's exclusivity.
