Don't know why anyone thought this would be true. You barely find any cross-platform games on consoles, only a few.
The Kinect-less XB1 won't stop or slow the momentum of the PS4. Expect the gap to widen in 2015.

As for Superman, it's almost impossible to make a TRUE Superman game. How do you recreate flying all over the world, realistically going into space and other planets, etc.
What is 2K waiting for? Bring back quality to NFL. EA doesn't have anymore good sports games except for Fight Night.

They tried to find ways to make it sound as if the Xbone was more powerful.
They blindly defended Kinect without good reason.
They downplay anything positive about the PS4 because it's a better device with better games.
The list goes on and on.
That's fine. Expect them to outclass almost anything on the Cable Box One.
