I can tell console gamers know nothing about pcs. The PS4 and Next Box are different and none is more powerful. The Next Box will have dedicated CPU/GPU while PS4 will unified CPU/GPU. This means the Next Box will be good at all things, while the PS4 will be better at gaming. The spec of the Next Box tells only the CPU and not the GPU. Graphics DO NOT USE DDR3 nowadays.
pertaining to #2. It is ironic that everyone is saying that the PS4 architecture is so similar to a pc. However, the rumored Next Box will be closer to a "gaming pc" than the PS4. As all current build of "gaming pc" has dedicated CPU/GPU memory. There are both advantages and disadvantages to both type of memory allocation.

I cannot believe how naïve console gamers are. DDR3 and GDDR5 are different purpose things. GDDR5 is graphics memory while DDR3 is system memory. No high-end graphics card uses DDR3 for memory. Therefore, MS will use dedicated graphics memory that is GDDR5; at least 2GB, more likely 4GB. Therefore, XBOX infinity will be more all rounded and the PS4 will be better at gaming, just only just. CRYSIS the most graphical intense game and will be for some time to come only need 2 GB.

actually no one knows that for sure. in all the rumors, only the system ram of 8 gb ddr3 has been mentioned. There has been no mention of the graphic ram yet. Some say it will be 4 gb , but who knows.
