Did you even read the letter from the ea developers saying 3rd party developers have only been working on the ps3 for about a year only sony people have been working on it longer, or does this just pass through your head because it doesnt contain the words
xbox or 360 on the page?
But well here in europe anyway when it does break sony organise to pick up your console next day and have a new one with you the next day, which is awesome..
this remains to be seen if it continues when the ps3 reaches 10mill mark sold but so far, compared to the time recently i had to get in touch with microsoft to have a new power pack sent to me they said 7-10 days 2 weeks later after ringing them again im still waiting.

Which means its taken a year to achieve the same result of 3 years work on the 360 using a totally different program method.
How do you come to the conclusion it will take 5 years for them to get the hang of it, have i not just read from a developer they can program with it make it on par with the 360 version.

Im more geared towards sony, but theres no doubting halo 3 will give it a boost, but honestly after that there will great difficult in any game reaching the heights of that game, so once the other 2 consoles have passed the halo storm its really game on.
The thing that gets me most is half of these people on here seem to be scared of change. And want the games industry to follow the movie industry, which these days the same rehashed crap trilogy sequel prequal is being brought out left right and centre, bar the few new and innovative movies.
I for one do not want this to happen yeh its great getting a trilogy or a new game to continue the story, but there needs to be something new not the same old stuff over and over again.

Unreal tournament 3 on the ps3 graphically as good as gears of war just check the gameplay footage is the same engine same developer and looks exactly like it.
I have a 360 gears of war is by far the best looking game on 360 yet playstation can match it, but it sucks at visuals and is a bottleneck.

Gears of wars is probs the best game on 360 correct and best looking graphically out atm correct.
It runs on the unreal tournament 3 engine correct and unreal tournament which is to be released on the ps3 this year if you see the gameplay vid's or trailers looks exactly the same as gears of war, correct again.

But it seems expensive the wii in the uk is a £179. I only know the us exchange rate with the pound nearly 2:1 so is this console just generally more expensive.

If we accepted crap like this and no one cared, then there would be no problem in you having to return your television, hi-fi whatever other electrical appliances you can think of every year to get it fixed and by left without for a month.
