It's at least comforting to know that we haven't seen all the JD equipment announced yet, and mods will fill the gaps. There's also always the potential for a JD DLC featuring some of the stuff that didn't make it into the base game.

It's been tough to stick with Nintendo, but I'm starting to come around. I still need to see more sound decision-making before I give them my (monetary) support, but it seems like they're making some strides in the right direction.
Definitely agree that Microsoft might do well to let things take shape, even if it's slower than hoped. Scalebound was looking like something interesting, and for a game in the state it was (with show-able pieces) to be cancelled is pretty sad. MS needs more success stories/interesting IPs to make their ecosystem one where people want to play.

I don't think anybody's wishing for its downfall, but the truth is that MS needs to put out some quality exclusives to make its consoles truly attractive. Impressive hardware without games is relatively useless.
Very true - I think once the initial "shock" of this wears off people will realize that it will come in other forms, but there were a lot of people (myself included, to some degree) that thought we'd be getting a wide variety of JD equipment now that they're in. Looks like it will be a bit of a slower introduction (when it comes to "official" equipment) than many expected.
