if i remember correctly Alex ward of criterion games admit hotpursuit and mostwanted could have been better. sales was low and decided to stop making NFS titles that is why ghost games have it now. 8 million copies are low compare to 18-20 million sold
copies from blackbox studios back in 2002-3 HOTPURSUIT 2 AND UNDERGROUND Metacritic rating.
and MS will lie to say they sold more than sony on one day launch sales or have no heat issues mark my words.

no, they need to go back to circuit tracks and close track racing. they had 2 already that flopped CRITERIONS HOTPURSUIT and MOSTWANTED both those open world games flopped big time hate to see RIVAL be 3rd in line.if rival dont sell hot then it is time go back to the original formula that work.

as a looooooong time NFS fan Rival is absolutely nothing like good ole days of BLACKBOX STUDIO Hotpursuit 2 and Underground days those 2 were NFS all about. now we have criterions mock-ups and ghost games wanna-be. what made CURRENT NFS un-desirable AGAIN is the auto-log and all-drive, open world driving. i wish they would bring back circuit tracks,tournaments,head to head 2 player racing,

as a old school NFS fan from 3DO days up to ps2 Underground not feeling the soul and spirit of NFS in rival,mostwanted,hotpursuit criterions version.
