I remember those days when everyone was just excited about new consoles, pc parts and games rumors.. it was all just something positive, something to look forward to and have exciting discussions around.
Now, 95% of comments is toxic and a hate wave has started before anything is confirmed Even.. its like the whole gaming industry and what comes out of it is just hated at this point no matter what.
Its a green shift in the World going on, and if they had just stopped all physical right away and with guidelines that arent mature enough, it would cause an uproar. This is a sneaky manipulation and balanced way to Get to the end goal.. which is all digital, no more physical.

Just Get over it already, its all gonna be digital in the near future. And the guidelines and the consumers rights around digital media is gonna Get updated along the way.
Next gen gaming prices wont crash anything. Switch 2 is an good example. Hybrid consoles Are the future and Xbox/PS has to jump on it next gen..
iPads and iPhones costs more, and it dosent stop people from buying.
We want bigger, better and more convenient. If ex Sony releases a solid hybrid console like switch 2, just with more Power and it costs 1000$ - 1300$ … its not a problem, people will buy quality. And its normal with a jump in inflation, dont forget that. The price...
Im gonna wait for Sonys ps6 hybrid console, and enjoy switch 2 until that happens.
Microsofts timing is awfull. Pure handhelds wont sell enough..hybrid consoles are the future.

Its crazy that heavy games like this is playable on handhelds. Just a bonus. I bought switch 2 for Nintendo games and indie games, not so much AAA 3rd party games. But happy for those who want to play these games on sw2 😊
Its all good. Tons of games to play, and it works great. Only thing im hoping for is more updates for older games. Would like to see proper updates for Lego games, minecraft and more.
Also waiting for information from Blizzard about diablo 4 and more.

A switch 1 + 2 pro controllers + 2 AAA games cost me about 650 $ in 2017/2018 here in Norway.
A switch 2 is 650$ alone
2 pro controllers = 250$
2 AAA games (MK and Donkey kong) = 195$
In 2025 they want me to pay almost 450$ more for the same experience.
To be fair, i could understand a 10$ increase on games, maybe as much as 100$ increase on the console, and maybe total 40$ (20 each) on the controllers..

About time. Now fix weather effects also. More snow, rain, Lightning etc.
This and that about the hardware etc… in the meantime, 150 mill + users Are playing actual games on switch that Are fun to play, and same will happen on switch 2.
They will most likely have switch (1) in their mind when developing new games for switch 2 for atleast 3 years. So i dont expect huge leaps to happen before then.
Why 2 months later… oh well, i will wait..

Ps5 pro and switch 2 together is awesome. Best of both worlds. I also have a gaming laptop if i Get some cs go itch, and iPad for hay day etc.
So my answer is, yes, ps5 is worth it 100%
