In terms of sheer story telling genius, nothing comes close to MGS-2. Period.
And this was done with not even being able to play with Solid Snake for almost 90% of the game. Hats off Kojima.
MGS-2 was the best, MGS-1 was a classic, MGS-3 was um..I dunno, I've never found Naked Snake interesting so din't really like the story. But the gameplay was the best in MGS-3 esp with the Jungle feel deep in Russia.
Is Wii having anything remotely similar to MGS-4, HALO-3, Mass Effect, FFXIII, Killzone-2 ??
All the exclusives cater to 8 yr olds or 40+
No thanks, Iam fine with my 360 & PS-3.
If it's stupid to buy a PS-3 for MGS-4 then Iam proud to be stupid.
Call me what you want, heck Metal Gear Solid is much more than just a game. It's an experience that only MGS can deliver and something I've never experienced playing any other game.

Pray, more 360 consoles implies more games sold.
The point is, how long can the 360 sustain it's lead when it keeps breaking down.
A failure-free product with more reliability is bound to lead at somepoint, just plain and simple statistics duh !!

Well, this is what happens if you compromise on design & testing time just to be first to the market.
It paid off very well in the beginning but as t (i.e) time, exponentially increases the failures are bound to happen.

Nintendo lost all my respect when they stabbed SONY in the back 12 years ago at E-3. Since then, they've just been hanging in there.
Wii sells like hotcakes but I would anyday have a 360/PS-3 over a WII.
SONY owned E-3.

It's how a game plays and not how it looks. Pro Evolution Soccer is the perfect example.
If we go by your logic then everyone should be playing Crysis over Mass-Effect.
