Considering over half my PS3 games are made up of new IP's for this generation then i would say this isn't really an issue.
I would say having demo units in every Game and Gamestation as well as Gamestop in the US. Is a pretty big marketing device for the console.
Most of a products marketing comes In Stores.
I do agree that there does need to be more TV Advertising mind.
Yes and you can also buy adapters to copy you game save away from the cartridge

Heck the demo units are a bigger marketing tool than any TV add.
4 for me, best game i have ever played. However 1,2,3,PW are all fantastic.
Never understood why Square Enix haven't put them on the playstation store.
But seeing what Square have become in recent years it doesn't surprise me
A 10% software attachment rate to a console in it's first week is really high.
Especially one which is just a port from the DS.

What a game it was. Finally got round to downloading VII, VIII & IX the other day seeing how cheap they are on the PS Store at the moment.
Just hope sony releases an update for Vita to allow PSone downloads to work on it, would love to play those 3 on the go.

Its the only demo out. Bit surprised it keeps getting it reposted on here.
If its real chances are it was a present for someone who thought that had a 360 and they returned it as they don't.
But really my money is on this being fake.
If i had to list 5 launch games games it would be (not in any particular order)
-Uncharted
-Wipeout
-Everybody's Golf
-Gravity Daze
-Motorstorm RC.
Hate what they are doing with this game, a few cars and tracks for a small price but then the rest of content via DLC.
Still too many other great launch games for Vita for me to even worry about this title
Can't wait for the Vita. My only wish is that Sony releases a patch asap so it will play the PS1 games i've downloaded on my PS3.
But there's plenty of content for me to mess around with while i wait for that to happen ^______^
The Demo is OK and visuals are good. But the controls and camera annoyed me.
The second analogue stick it comes with on my pre-order and could fix that. But might just wait until its cheap
